The name Eg Erkt Schewb is derived from the Dwarven language, as Eg Erkt Schewb was founded by Réoīsh Jóchī 'Skyla Skyla' Ra̋mē Nīs Séór Cÿbackhugehdew, who was culturaly Dwarvern.

Climate

Overview

Eg Erkt Schewb was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1177, by Réoīsh Jóchī 'Skyla Skyla' Ra̋mē Nīs Séór Cÿbackhugehdew. The establishment of Eg Erkt Schewb was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Eg Erkt Schewb's construction back out of the project. Réoīsh Jóchī 'Skyla Skyla' Ra̋mē Nīs Séór Cÿbackhugehdew pushed on reguardles, and Eg Erkt Schewb was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Eg Erkt Schewb was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Eg Erkt Schewb is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Eg Erkt Schewb is is constructed arround a series of restrictive cobblestone mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. Eg Erkt Schewb's would-be-castle fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Eg Erkt Schewb is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife. You get the terrible feeling that whatever it was, the wound it left will simply never heal. This town is as a necropolice.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Eg Erkt Schewb's natural decorations nor waterways.

Eg Erkt Schewb has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Eg Erkt Schewb's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
